Lovely surprise!!!

I had a lovely lovely surprise yesterday afternoon. The postman brought me a package from Japan, from my friend Sachiko.
When I opened the package, a neatly wrapped gift with a unique gift tag greeted me,
Lovely and what a great idea, isn't it?
Just by the look of it, you can already tell that it is from a creative and talented woman.
Sachiko is such a well rounded needleworker. Other than cross stitch, she can make a lot of things like Tilda dolls, bags, dress, just to name a few. Look what she had for me,
Wow!! I'm so impressed! I like it so much!!! She was so sweet in her greeting card - "Sorry I couldn't stitch anything, although I made sac (bag) for you". It's perfect, I couldn't ask for more.
I like the checkered fabric she used and the strap perfectly matches it. She place a lace at the side opening of the bag which gives a very nice touch to it. She used the same lace on the front where she placed the two red checkered covered buttons (she made those lovely buttons too!) and leather straps tied in a knot to close it. Still at the front, she attached a cute ribbon with animal prints and the lines, "Let's hit the road. Ready!" So true, it will come in handy as I will be bringing it with me containing my cross stitch stuff. Inside is a pocket, same fabric. I must say, this bag is absolutley lovely, done by a pro. Love it!
That's not all... she also added some beauties and placed it inside the bag. I like windchimes and she just gave me one. A nice one made of glass. I'll keep it first and hopefully display it soon in our new flat.
Along with these beauties is another beauty, a Hello Kitty pop-up card with her handwritten message. When I saw it, I had a smile in my face reminiscing those days when I was so Hello Kitty crazy. I even had a big Hello Kitty pillow, my hubby's christmas gift when he was still courting me, back in college. OOpppss, I got carried away, sorry, lol!Thank you so much Sachiko for this lovely present. I like it so much. I will definitely use everything. Many thanks again.
