I've finished Rose Sampler SAL 2008 by EMS the other day, teehee!!! I'm so very happy with the result and very much satisfied with the thread colors and fabric choice. Such lovely sampler is such a pleasure to stitch. Thanks a lot Ellen for sharing with us this beauty.
Here it is,
I hope I'll find a very nice frame for it, I want to display it soon.
*** Btw, I have added a new item for sale at Jardin de Joy. It's a floss keeper which I designed. I know you have seen some photos of it which I've made for myself and gifts for friends, but I've made some modifications to make it more useful with a new stitched design using cross stitch and some especialty stitches. Hope you find it useful too and get one for yourself or give away as a gift for a friend. TFL.
I will leave you with a couple of Toile I've stitched a few days ago. Told you I'm so crazy about toile nowadays, and still have some more to stitch.
Here's a snap of beauties,

Let's talk about BIZ..

..sounds serious? Nah.
I've put up a new blog for the hand dyed fabrics I'm selling which I dyed myself. Each fabric is unique and at reasonable price.
Please check this out Jardin de Joy.
**Sorry I forgot to indicate, prices are in USD, thanks Veronica. Thanks also Chiloe for the good wish.
Thanks and have a nice weekend ahead of you!
Sorry about the glitch on the first blog, no comments allowed but it's ok now.
*** Jo, please give me your email addy. I've already reserved the item for you.
A new L-O-V-E

I have just signed in to a new SAL which will start this month. It's "Beloved" by A Stitcher's Hands. It's been in my to-do list but I kept forgetting so when I learnt about this SAL, I blurted out PERFECT! You know how nice it is to stitch a big project like this one along with other stitchers, just the right motivation we need to keep going. If you are interested you can check out Orangecannelle and leave a comment.
I've done the floss toss a month back and decided to use 3 colors of silk floss. Although I have not seen yet other participants' photos of their fabric and floss choice, here's mine,
I really hope it will turn out nice.
I am currently so crazy about Toile, another new love if I may say so. When I saw this chart in a magazine De fil en Aiguille, I just couldn't help myself but stitch it. Here's what I've finished so far,
Very lovely!! You ask why I said so far, well, I have a few more charts to stitch using different colors of floss. I'm currently stitching a small chart using threads with shades of blue and grey. Next to it, is a bigger chart using threads of shades of browns. And a couple more. I'm so mesmerized, lol!
That's all for now. Take care and enjoy stitching and stashing!
Flower power!

Yep, what I currently have in my WIP, flowers, flowers, flowers... roses in particular, ;)
I managed to carry on my Lan Roses Triptych this last weekend and have done quite a lot. Panel 2 has only 2 roses in it and I'm now on the 2nd one. It's definitely looking gorgeous. I can't wait to continue with it this weekend to see the lovely roses in full bloom already stitched.
Here's a snap,
And here's the photo of Panel 2 next to completed Panel 3, to give you an idea how it's going to look like when finished. The background is an easy stitch but I know it will take me a while to complete the backstitches. So no clear vision yet as to when to reach the finish line. But believe me, it's just so hard to put down.
Since I've already finished Lan Mediterranean Terrace, thought it's time to start my long pending another Lanarte to-do project, "Nesting Birds In Rambler Rose". It's been in my to-do list since early part of last year, then fell in love with something else and so it went down to the very end of my list. I had prepared the fabric for it, hand dyed an Aida myself last year too, the time when I had the intense urge to stitch it. Now that the urge's back, of course you know what happen next... I started it. Got bored on plain white fabric so I used my hand dyed fabric intended for it. Finished size will be smaller than the original kit as I am using 17ct (odd count, isn't it?) instead.
Here's what I've stitched so far.
I've not forgotten my PR Mediterraneo, of course. A lot done since my last progress post of it. I've stitched half of their bodies, did the backstitch and working my way up to the background. I think I'm more interested now on stitching the sea, sun and the rest of the background, sorry but the couple will remain amputated for some time, lol!
Here it is,
Thanks for looking and for leaving such lovely note.
Have a great weekend ahead of you. TCA.
