♥♥♥♥♥♥
I'm still here, alive and kicking. I had the longest vacation ever and it was awesome. I didn't bring with me any of my WIP so it was really a pretty long break from stitching.
I have not yet shown you some of my finishes late last year and so here it goes.
Let me start with 2 of my SAL. I'm pleased with the result of my Papillon Creations 2008 MS SAL "How does your garden grow?". I have completed it as scheduled in December and framed it myself right after. It is now proudly on display in our living room.
LOVE it!!
I've had slow progress on my "Beloved" SAL and here's what I've stitched before my long vacation.

I have not worked on it (busy with life) since I got back from my trip. And I knew I'm way behind, hopefully I can catch up before Feb28.
I have also been stitching Blackbird Designs Mystery Bonus Sampler since November 2008 (if I remember right) and have completed the 4th chart in December.

The fabric is a 32ct Befast JdJ Pumpkin Patches which I think is perfect for this design. I like the 4th chart, and I know you will agree with me when I say, how true is this, " I cannot count my day complete, til needle, thread and fabric meet."
I have also made my own version of the famous QSnap Hugger. It's been in my wishlist since 2007 but it was discontinued before I can get one. So I decided to make my own version and called it Fabsnap Cover, short for extra fabric in qsnap cover.

This is a great way to keep our stitching projects clean and tidy while stitching. I made 2, one for 8" frame (the blue floral one) and one for 11" frame which is my fave as the fabric is toile (with angel prints). I will be offering this Fabsnap COver in Jardin de Joy, for inquiries please email me.
Here are some of my finishes for 2008 which I have given away as gifts for my dear friends.

I always like The Sweetheart Tree designs, perhaps because it uses specialty stitches in most if not all of their designs. I have stitched a couple of NR designs earlier part of December last year but I intended to finish it not as NR (I have in mind what the finishing will be but will reveal it later on).

Before bidding 2008 goodbye, I had SEX (not that thing... my blog is still wholesome and for GP, lol!!) I mean Stash Enhancement eXperience. This was a great buy as I got it half the OSP.

Belated Happy Valentine!! Hope you all had a great heart's day. Mine was wonderful. Hubby and I had dinner out at an Italian resto. He gave me a box of my fave black chocolates and granted my wish of a pair of Fit Flop Electra Gold and More Twine Series Limited Edition Black Leather Case for my iPhone. He's really sweet and thoughtful, lucky me!
Thanks so much for all your greetings and warm wishes. I couldn't be happier receiving them all.
Have a nice day everyone.
TFL.
