  • "Thank you Moni for your nice comment on my Beloved. I'm stitching on Jardin de Joy Mondial 28ct Lugana."

I'd like to thank everyone who participated in my poll and shared their views. I appreciate it so much. All the while I thought I was the only one left in this modern world who would rather keep whatever gifts received for purely sentimental reasons. Result of this poll had proven me wrong, I was not alone. Now I know, that the 17 out 38, we seemed to be on the same wavelength.

Nina is having a Blogiversary give-away draw, visit her blog to get a chance to win this lovely give-away. Happy Blogiversary Nina!! Sorry I don't have a picture of my scissors to show. Anyways I only have a few, two of which were gifts from friends (from you and Cathy).

A friend of mine, AJ (no blog) had sent me BC Big Zipper Border Kit. She thought I still am wishing for it so she sent me one. I had not told her I already bought it last year, I forgot, old me, hehehe! I was so busy that time and was on a long vacation as well.

So I'm selling the one I bought (I will of course keep AJ's gift).

    Price: USD30.00 plus S&H: USD5.00

The Big Zipper Border kit comes packaged in a 10 x 14 Mesh Bag and includes the pattern for the border and the first design - Love Grows, a large cut of 18 count linen to stitch the entire project, all floss & embellishments to stitch the border & Love Grows.

This kit retailed at $68.00 so my price is for less than half of the original price. It is still in the Mesh Bag and has never been used. Everything is included to make the first chart. Please drop me a note if you are interested.

On stitching note, here's my progress report.

Permin "Christmas In Town - SAL" 3

I've completed the bakeshop and will move on to the next shop, the Toys Shop on the right. It's coming along very nicely and I like it.

    Stitcher's Hands "Beloved-SAL"

As scheduled, I have stitched the cherub on the right and the borders on both sides.

Papillon "Castles in the Air MS-SAL"
Part 1: The Formal Garden "In our hectic lives we all need a place where peace and order reign."

I had so much fun stitching it!! I'm very pleased with the result. I decided to use DMC threads this time and Jewel Effects Golden Dawn. The metallic thread matches the colors and gives a very nice sparkle to it. I'll decide on the 2 colors of the beads to use at a later time. Part 2 is already out, I've just received it yesterday. I'm excited to carry on with it.

Look what I got in the mail this last Sunday, yahoo!! I know this Anagram Diffusion Sampler Elements chart before but didn't realize how lovely it is until I saw Rachel's stitched piece. Her stitching was simply beautiful. I got so jealous looking at her photos, so I ask her if I can buy her chart. She's so nice and let me buy it. She even sent me a card with a photo of Marjolein Bastin's Bouquet of Roses. You're such a darling Rachel, thanks.

I am glad that you like the Elements chart. I think you will find when you start stitching it, that I made a few counting mistakes on mine! But I'll cut myself some slack considering it was my first attempt on linen!!

I think I will definitely continue to use Olive green Belfast fabric for the rest of my Anagram Diffusion charts! I think it is lovely with the DMC 498 ;)

I love your progress on your many projects! I am so jealous about your Beloved design! It is gorgeous!

    Have a great day ^____^

I wouldn't sell it too, but from every chart I get, I make a copy to work in, so I would give away a copy, but not the original chart.
