Permin-SAL and more....
Monday, May 18, 2009
As you know I currently have 3 SAL but only have one update this time. I just received today the newsletter from Papillon, Part 3 is up for download. Beloved's next goal is due on June 15th, that means I have lots of time to stitch my other WIP.
Permin "Christmas In Town-SAL" 5
Toyshop
Toyshop is complete. Here it is,
Moving on to the next shop which is Flowershop. I love how this is coming along, it sure is lovely.
I told you last time that I had 2 new start, yup, now is the time to reveal. I have been wanting to stitch these 2, took me more than a year to finally give it a go. I like both a lot and realized I should have stitched it then when I wanted to.
Chatelaine Designs "Japanese Garden"
The Tori center
I've completed the Tori but have yet to work on the waves. I'm still waiting for the PB floss which I bought more than a week ago. It should've been here by now as I ordered it from a local ONS, it usually takes 3 days tops. Anywho, this is hubby's special request. He really likes it and was pretty much excited as I am. I'm stitching on JdJ Cherry Blossoms Jubilee.
Cross 'N Patch "Sunshine and Flowers"
Top Section
As you all might already know, I love hardanger and see to it that I have one project or so each year, either hardanger or blackwork, which can either be for myself or a gift. I'm stitching on JDJ Morning Meadows Cashel and using light green pearl cotton which is close to the fabric color for the hardanger. There are some motifs which I have yet to stitch as some of the THWX floss for it are still somewhere wandering, arrggh! So I'm really jumping here and there, hopefully all the floss I ordered will be here this week, hopefully.
Speaking of hardanger, here's my project for 2010, or earlier, hehehe. It is also by Ernie Bishop of Cross N' Patch "The Garden". Very lovely, isn't it?
Another Chatelaine Designs which is in my to-do list for 2010, the "Alpine Seasons Garden". Nicole of Orangecannelle has reserved her chart for me. Although it will have to wait as she's currently having it as a SAL, I appreciate her for letting me have her chart when she's through with it. Thanks Nicole. ![]()
