♥♥♥♥♥♥

...... from Nicole came last week. I mentioned in my previous post that she's reserving her Chantelaine chart "Alpine Seasons Garden" for me and will let me buy it when she's done with it. OMG, I was really surprised to have it so soon. No clue at all that it's already on its way while I was talking about it. She's giving it to me as a gift and no need to pay anything, isn't she so nice and sweet!!! I don't know what I did to deserve this. Thank you so much my friend for this lovely gift, you really made my stressful day.
I plan to stitch it next year when I'm through with Japanese Garden. So far, I am having a blast on JG and 'em enjoying every minute stitching it, I'm certain I will too on ASG.

On stitching side, I have been enjoying Sunshine & Flowers so much. I love how it is coming along. All the specialty stitches and hardanger make it really special and fab. I will surely stitch another one of Ernie Bishop's after this.
The colors of the THWX floss I'm using are so nice, I'm loving it! I've completed Top and Middle Section, currently I'm working on the bottom part. I am planning to change a part or replace it, I'll show it to you later on.

I have also started Elements. I'm stitching on JdJ Days of Yore 32ct linen using 2 strands of DMC floss and THWX.

I started on the lower left which is Fire and have completed a few motifs. Just look at that majestic dragon, isn't it stunning? I decided to use black & white as the main color and lt brown, dk brown and dk green for letters and zodiac sign names. I am using THWX floss for the borders. The photo is not showing its true colors but IRL, it has 4 nice colors in it.

About my SAL, first off is Permin CIT. I've started Flowershop, the last shop on the right, but nowhere near completion. Here's what I've stitched so far,

Papillon CIA MS-SAL Part 3 is done. Part 3 is composed of 4 trees, flowers in 8 urns and 8 gardens. It actually took me 3 nights to complete but it was fun.

You can check out our progress of Beloved-SAL on June 15 in Nicole's blog. I wanted to have it posted same time as the others so I excluded it here.

I will be on a NO BLOGGING MODE in a few weeks or so. We bought a flat and I'm now busy packing up things and getting ready to move. We've stayed here in the West region for 6 years, moving to another place (away from here but still in the West) will be like a new start for us. We will surely miss this place but of course we're so excited as well for the new house we can now call "our own home sweet home". Shortly after a couple of weeks of moving in, we will have a trip out of the country for a short vacation. DH knows I'm the one who's stressed out and tired for this moving thingy and so deserves a break.

As you might have noticed, I lie low a bit on exchanges and SAL and my blogiversary in Feb passed without a celebration. I've been really busy from the time we went back from a long vacation in Dec to Feb. We started viewing flats right after and choosing the place we see ourselves staying for years is not an easy thing. Giving an offer and waiting was really stressful. But then I guess, this house that we got is really for us, as it is a one shot deal. We made an offer, had a cheque ready, signing followed right there and then and the rest is history. I'm making this promise to you, as soon as I've settled everything down to the new house, I will have a give away draw, so do stick around.

Hope to see you all when I come back. Ciao.

Peace be with you all.
