Give-away up for grab....

Tuesday, October 06, 2009

♥♥♥♥♥♥

I've been really busy for the past few months and had only gotten around to stitching my WIP a couple of weeks ago. Sorry if I had not visited any blogs, I will soon. But the good news is, I've finished my give-away gift this last weekend, so it is now up for grab.

But first, allow me to show you my long pending gift to my friend Nima. It had safely reached her after a week. It was supposed to be a PIF gift for her last year but since she had just move in to a new place at that time, she told she's not confident enough of the postal system in that place. She gave me the go signal in July but then I was so preoccupied with the move. Finally, finally, she got it, hehehe.

I made a small threadkeeper with a scissors pocket and a needle/pin felt page on the back. The stitched piece is from Tournicoton entitled "Petite Pause" on 32ct White Lugana.

I also made a stick scissorfob the night before I send it out. I designed it early this year and called it "A Pot of Love". It is a small design, a one-nighter (if I may call it), perfect for last minute project and to make use of left over threads and fabric.

I'm glad she liked it. I am more than happy hearing those compliments from her. It definitely brightens my day.

Blogiversary/Bday Give-away Draw
As I've mentioned earlier, I've finished my Blogiversary/Bday Give-Away and so it is now ready for grab. It's a small stitcher's keeper, which you can place in your bag and bring with you wherever you go.

Stitcher's Keeper Size: 9cm x 13cm
Toile Stitched Piece chart from DFEA HS 26
The front cover has a stitched piece, a blue toile scenery. The back cover has a scissors pocket with a pair scissors in it (of course you can replace it with your fave snips).

Inside you'll find a needle/pin page and a small pincushion. It has a few pins in it and one pin that holds 2 fimo yellow rose buttons which you can use for biscornu or scissorfob. Still inside, is a pocket that contains one pack of Piecemakers needles, a matching bobbin with a TGA Sampler Thread "Dark Chocolate" already wound around it.

Who's qualified for this draw....

Nina, yup, you can post it in your blog. Thank you for asking and for taking the initiative to post about it and share it with your friends.
**I don't have a way and time as well, of tracking who had posted about this draw in their blogs so I didn't put it as another way of adding entries. But if you do, thank you, I appreciate it.

Email recvd (she's entered):
"Ok, didn't see a place to make a comment on your new entry for the giveaway, so sending an email asking to be entered (can you tell I am new to blogging, life is hard on a 73 year old lady not used to computers, grin).

Your work is so beautiful, just thought I would mention that, there is more to life than grab a freebie, and complements are as important as saying thank you for the gift of a freebie".

This coming year, 2010, P&G Philippines Inc. is celebrating its 75th year Anniversary. We are organizing a grand reunion to be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010, 10am to 3pm, to usher in the year’s festivities. All former regular employees of P&G PMC and P&G Philippines, Inc. are invited. Unlike in past reunions, this celebration will be held appropriately on P&G soil, at the world-class, globally recognized Cabuyao Plant. Like this durable company that we have collectively built, our theme is fittingly, “Diamonds are Forever”.
