A Box of Chocolates

Wooohooo, the postman delivered a wonderful surprise from a dear friend Nicole this morning. She told me about it but I was not expecting she'll mail it so soon. Remember the gift she sent me in June, the chart Alpine Garden by Chatelaine (click HERE to get to that post). She emailed me a few days ago and asked if I have started it yet. She really has a big heart and offered to send me the left over threads that came with the kit if I haven't bought them yet. Very nice of her. Thank you so much Nicole. I'm happy and gay to receive such gift. I'll surely use every single strand of it. As you all might have already know, I'm stitching Japanese Garden using the alternate DMC. I am so excited to start Alpine as I can get to stitch it with the called for threads. Lucky me!!

She also sent me some really cute bee pins and button. I like them a lot. I will use them for sure! Merci beaucoup dear Nicole!!!!

Here's a photo of some of my flowering plants. It feels great to see them each morning blooming and healthy. I had a few fresh pick of orange roses. A few more are coming out. The Jasmine greets me with its very pleasant smell everyday. I feel happy to see the kaleidoscope of lovely flowers, just great to start the day.

Start of our Her Flower Garden SAL is near approaching. I can't wait.
