As you have seen in my previous post, "Rose", Block 1 of my proposed SAL "Her Flower Garden", you might be wondering what the other 5 blocks are. Since this is not a mystery SAL, I'm now unveiling the whole piece. So here it is,
Details
Design Area: 229W X 159H
Each Block Design Area: 65W X 65H
Charted in DMC threads of 24 colors ( You may replace the threads as you may want to)
Worked in Cross Stitch, Long Stitch, Backstitch, Eyelet and French Knot.

Since this is my Christmas gift for Followers of this blog, we will start in December. Chart will be emailed to you so let me know of your email address. You'll receive one block on the 15th of each month, from December to May. First block will be emailed to you together with the border chart in December. You may want to rearrange the blocks according to your preference (that's the fun of it, isn't it?). As you can see, there are a lot of whites in it so a colored fabric is suggested. I will be posting all your progress pics here, so please email me your monthly progress photos.

On stitching note, I know it's been a while but WOOOhooo, it's triple HD!!! Happy, happy, happy dance!!!!! Yipee!!! Three HD in a row, hot, hot, hot fresh from the oven...hehehe.
A Stitcher's Hands "Beloved"
First off is my Beloved. I managed to complete it just in time for our SAL end date. Oh, I L-O-V-E it!!
Not sure though when I will have time to frame it. If I find a nice frame , then I'll frame it myself, if not, then off to framers.
Just Nan "Sirens of the Sea"
Look at this beauty, I'm so pleased. I did the final touches last night.
I stitched the shell instead of attaching the silver shell charm, thought it would look nice if it is done that way. I used Threadworx 1029, wow, the color variations in it gave it a realistic look. I like it so much!
Rachel, the shell was made of long stitch and spider's web wheel. I did long stitches to make spokes of 11, then work spider's web wheels (wrapping the thread around the spokes until completely covered) then lastly, come up at the top, and work long stitch, 3 times.

A closer look,
On on-going SAL note, I'm so behind Papillon Creations "Castles in the Air". I only managed to stitch Part 4 and have yet to print Part 5. I like this part a lot as it has peacocks, it looks very pretty.
Can't wait to see these 3 framed and displayed in our place.
But when? dunno, lol!

By the way, what kind of stitch did you use for the sea shell in the Sirens design? The thread color is beautiful for that little shell ;)

Beloved is my favourite, it's absolutely beautiful woth your colors! I want to stitch it immediately :))) I won't start of course, but I fell in love...
