♥♥♥♥♥♥

For the month of December

I've received a couple of piccies of the completed Block 1 of Her Flower Garden Sampler.

Here's Hwakyung's,

Fabric: 32ct Confederate Gray Linen
Threads as charted

And by Seol-Hwa,

Fabric: 32ct Olive Green Linen
Threads: DMC, DMC 4050, ANC 1207

Wow, lovely stitching! I like their fabrics, the design pops out. I'm really impressed by their speed on stitching it, so quick. I'm happy as well to know you both enjoyed stitching it and looking forward to stitching Block 2. Thank you Hwakyung and Seol-Hwa for the photos.

As of today, I received another 3 completed photos of Block 1. Interesting, this is where you'll see how such design will look on different colors of fabrics. How creative of them!

Here's Najma's,

Fabric: 32ct Violet Lugana
Threads: DMC as charted

By Ruinty,

Fabric: 32ct Linen
Threads: DMC as charted

By Ramune,

Fabric: Info not given
Threads: DMC as charted

Thank you Najma, Ruinty and Ramune for sharing with us photos of your lovely stitching. How nice it is to see it on different fabrics. Excellent job!!!! Glad to know you all enjoyed stitching it.

I received another email today and it's from Love2cat. She told me that it's her first time to join a global project like this and that she's excited and happy to be part of Her Flower Garden Sampler SAL.

Fabric: 28ct Raw Linen
Threads: DMC, replaced the color of the roses with 601, 603, 605

She stitched it 1 over 1 and left the border. As per her the size is quite small as she can hide it with her hand, wow, teeny tiny! Excellent job!!

Thank you too Love2cat for the lovely email and for the photo. What you said really warms my heart.

Here's Remedios' version,

She intended to stitch each block separately and so she completed the border for Rose and use the word Rosa in place of rose. What a great idea. Thanks for the photo Remedios.

I've also received another photo by Kriszti. It's a different version but really nice.

She decided to rearrange it into one column. In place of White for the border, she used DMC 818, the rest as charted. Good to know she enjoyed stitching it. Thanks for the photo Kriszti.

Ellen had finished Block 1 and sent me the photos. She's stitching each block individually and planned on finishing as stitching accessories.

Fabric: 34ct Legacy
Threads: DMC as charted

It is lovely. I can't wait to see her finishing on it. Thanks Ellen!

Mary (no blog) sent me a photo of her completed "HPW-Needleworker". Lovely stitching!!! I didn't know it would look great on such fabric, I like how it turned out. I have used the same fabric on AMAP Broderie des Anges Threadkeeper. I still have FE of such fabric which is big enough for this design, I'd use it too.

She told me she worked on it for 2 days. WOW, that was quick. I'm glad you had great fun stitching it. Thank you so much Mary. You did a great job!!

A very merry Christmas to each and everyone,
