♥♥♥♥♥♥

...our ABoC-SAL "Her Flower Garden Sampler" is officially on. I have emailed the first 2 charts, hope you all will receive it. Otherwise, check in your spam folder, or drop me a line and I'll email it again to you.

The response I got on this SAL is overwhelming. I didn't expect to have more than 50 participants. I'm so very glad! Hope you'll all have great fun stitching it as I had.

***Please note, to Veromilu, you haven't given me your email addy.

Here's a photo from Hwakyung, she's ready to start.

"Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my designs. I'm over the moon knowing you liked them. Thank you so much also to those who supported me and have already purchased some of my designs. It definitely inspires and motivates me to continue doing it. As you might all know, I am currently offering my charts in Pdf format. I decided to also offer it in hard copy to cater those who prefer it already printed out. But please note, there will be a price difference, it will be US$2 higher, plus Shipping and Handling fee."

I am busy working on this new design entitled "A Secret Garden". It's a sampler which only uses 3 floss colors. It is charted using JdJ Hand Dyed Threads but DMC conversion is also provided for those who will only buy the chart. Kits will be offered with the threads as charted.  Here's a sneak peek, with 3 of the charted JdJ Hand Dyed Threads.

As Christmas is just around the corner, I have prepared a simple gift to my dearest friends. I only got the chance to work on it this month, not enough time, so I decided to make something simple and easy to make. I made some Clothespin Angels.

Really simple, huh?! Yup. I stitched a simple satin stitch motif on 32ct White Linen for her dress, stitched and cut her wings and placed some white cotton lace on her dress. I also finished off some of the dress by working buttonhole stitch instead of placing cotton lace. I painted their faces making sure they don't look alike. I have so much fun making it.

Here's a closer look of their faces.

I made 10 angels, but since I only have a few good friends, I have some for myself. I really hope they will like it. Hope also that these angels will spread their wings and fly as fast as they can to get to their new home in time for Christmas.

TFL!!

Merry Christmas to you,
